A Step-by-Step Guide for Installing TeX-Guy

1. Installation of VFlib 3.6

(If you want to use xgdvi, you must install GTK+ 1.2 and GNU gettext. Install them before you compile TeX-Guy.)

Obtain TeX-Guy 1.3 from the download page.
Unpack the archive file. (The percent character % below is a prompt of a shell.)
```
  % gzip -cd < TeX-Guy-1.3.2.tar.gz | tar xvf - 
```
Go to the TeX-Guy directory.
```
  % cd TeX-Guy-1.3.2 
```
Run configure-site script. It is a shell script to invoke configure script with some important options. If youd don't like settings in configure-site, modify it according to your system environment, or manually run configure with options.
```
  % ./configure-site 
```
Run make to compile.
```
  % make 
```

Become a root user and install. (Or, ask a root user to do this stage.)

  % su 
  Password: XXXXXXX    (type the password for root user)
  # make install
  # exit
  %
